Miss Casey!

Brady got a Sally (Cars) pez dispenser as a Valentine's present. All weekend he wouldn't go anywhere or do anything without his "Miss Sally".

Today, I was putting him down for his nap and I gave him "Miss Sally" and he corrected me and said it was "Miss Casey". So now Sally is Casey!

To those of you not in Texas, Casey is my girlfriend from my mom's club.

Princess Harper

I had my wedding headpiece out cleaning it for my sister. We have started a family tradition to wear the same headpiece. (only if you want to of course) And my younger sister is getting married in April. She will be the 3rd sister to wear it. As I was cleaning the crystals, every time I would put it down Harper would put it on her head. She looked so cute I kept calling her Princess Harper. Brady called her this all day!

Our Fighting Days!

The kids received many new and cool toys over the holiday season. Since we have been home from Ohio, they fight over a toy every single day! Even their old toys, they will fight tooth and nail over who can play with what. I am constantly hearing "mine" coming from both their mouths. I end up putting whatever toy they are fighting over away so no one can play.

Today was no exception. Today they were fighting over Brady's tool belt with tools. When I went to break up the fight I could not help but laugh at what I saw...

New Year's Eve!

We had a great New Year's Eve this year. We went out to dinner with Josh's family and friends and then we all went bowling! I have not gone bowling for a very long time. Brady was so excited. He enjoyed himself immensely until frame 6. Then, it kinda was like pulling teeth to get him to roll the ball again. He could not understand why we had to stay in lane 2. He wanted to bowl in 1, 3, and 4. Nothing worked, by the last couple of frames I had his cousin Hayden roll for him so we could move along in the game. Maybe next year he will be able to last the entire game!

Harper just walked around aimlessly! She had fun though!

Ohio Weather

This morning I started to go through all of Harper's clothes. I needed to get the warm clothes in her dresser and the summer clothes packed away. I came across some heavy winter clothes. She was thrilled to try them on for me. While going through these clothes I realized what type of outfits I need to pack in a few weeks for Ohio. Texas winter and Ohio winter are so different. Harper tried all morning to figure out the mittens. She kept trying to eat them. I found a pair of small pink boots that probably will not fit her next week. Brady wanted to know where his boots were, and was getting pretty upset because I did not have a pair for him.

Christmas Picture

I have been trying all morning to get a good Christmas picture for our cards. The kids however, had a different plan in mind. I got some great shots of each of them, just not together. This has been my battle since Harper was born. They will not sit together long enough to get a good picture. Oh well... we had fun trying.

As for the Christmas card... you'll have to wait to see what I chose.

Buckeye House

Last weekend was the last game of the Ohio State Buckeye's 2008 season. As we do every Saturday, we all get dressed in our Buckeye attire and cheer on Coach Tressel and his gang. Josh and I watch the pre-game parties and tailgating that goes on and have fond memories when we used to be there. It was fun, but I am much more happier with our new "tailgating" routine.
